Implant Dentistry

Dental Designs has over 20 years involvement with all aspects of Implant Dentistry. We have evolved to one of the largest implant laboratories in the Midwest, starting with denture cases with University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1986, expanding into partial endentouls cases and to present day CADCAM applications. We have our own CADCAM, Procera, ETkon and Cerec Inlab scanners.

Our involvement with implants goes beyond fabricating crowns and abutments. We are a full-service lab in every sense of the word, from treatment planning to abutment designs, to chairside assistance. We offer CE accredited Power Point Presentations that we can bring directly to your office. We believe in the team approach to Implant Dentistry. We believe the best outcome is achieved when all three team members – the dentist, oral surgeon and the laboratory – collaborate for the benefit of the patient.

Cementation of Implant Crowns

Dental Designs and implant manufacturers recommend that most implant restorations should have some form of retrievability. This is achieved by the use of temporary cement, access holes or screw retained crowns.

Most clinical temporary cements are acceptable.

Dental Designs can provide Improv© cement if needed for permanent/temporary cement.
